Took a short break to Koh Samui early July. Got a nice tan and some even nicer compliments back in Singapore, which made me decide to permanently maintain it. The food surprisingly costs more in Koh Samui then it does in Singapore. I was like "What the..." But the beach more then made up for it so I didn't grouse over it for long. Some pictures...
I've very recently (read: 2 hours or so ago) returned from a business trip in Kuala Lumpur. The "bak kut teh" (meaning: herbal pork ribs soup) did not disappoint. Neither did the shopping. After the short three days, I must say I am content and happy. One of the highlights of my trip include picking up this completely cute piece of "alterable". We shall just call it "alterable" for the moment, ya? As soon as I saw it, I was on the phone with Sharon from Laine's to find out if they wanted me to pick it up for the next crop session. She was agreeable and so I happily picked up 30 pieces of "alterable" and am now looking forward to altering it! For those that will be going for the next crop at Laine's, here's a sneak peek of it to whet your appetite.
Asides from "alterable", I feel the need to highlight two more items that I managed to pick up, the first of which being a set of 10 acid-free, multi-coloured Needle Point notebooks for only RM75! Here, have a look-see.
Secondly, credit goes to "The Little Book of Big Promotions" for making me a satisfied lady leaving Kuala Lumpur. Packed with unique marketing ideas, this lil baby sure did get me all excited about going back to the office on Monday!
